Intumescent coatings provide a protective layer expanding with heat from a fire, insulating the surfaces from heat and oxygen thereby helping to control the spread of flames and fire propagation and providing fire resistance to protect the material below maintaining the structural stability of the building. (We do not supply Intumescent Paint for Doors.)
