- In removing an oil stain from an asphalt or tarmac surface it is important not to use a cleaning agent that will erode or damage the surface.
- Bio TA is a highly effective biological cleaning agent that digests oil contamination off tarmac and asphalt surfaces.
- To apply: water wet the surface; brush Bio TA into the oil stain leave for 20-30 minutes and rinse off.
- If rinse water cannot be discharged to a separator, then we recommend the use of Spill Magnet to capture such oily water residues.
- Oil Stains on tarmac and asphalt act as a solvent and in time will etch or remove the "top layer" of the surface. This results in a colour change and is an unavoidable consequence.
- Cleaning with Bio TA cannot reverse this change, but it will produce an oil free surface.
- To re-colour apply Asphalt Restorer.
