Holzprof is a CLEAR MAINTENANCE FREE FIRE PROTECTION FOR SOLID TIMBER.
Not harmful to the environment.
Holzprof Ecological Fire Retardant isfor use in timber frame buildings, external and internal wood cladding, on staircases, trusses, joists, floors and walls, on stables,log cabins, offices, boats, fencing, and garages or even on scaffolding boards.
Will protect SOLID timber to Euro Class B equivalent to Class O. Spread of Flame.
Holzprof is fire tested to the appropriate standards - BS476 Parts 6 & 7(Class 1 & Class 0) Spread of Flame.
NT 053 & NT 054 Accelerated weathering of Fire-Retardant treated wood for fire testing. Euro-class C (Equivalent to UK Class 1 & 2) for plywood.
For internal and external use once applied it cannot be washed out of the substrate.
Holzprof fire performance properties will not compromise other critical engineering properties in the timber such as strength, durability, or hygroscopicity.
Holzprof is simple to use and safe to apply. Quickly penetrates the structure of the substrate.
Does not require an additional protective finishing coat, Holzprof can be over-coated with appropriate wood stains, varnishes and some paints.
Holzprof has non-flammable properties, which become part of the substrate, restricting ignition and the spread of flame.
Holzprof when exposed to temperatures of up to 1500 C are subject to charcoal forming, severely restricting the spread of flame.
Once dry it is not affected by moisture. It can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, saunas and swimming pool enclosures .
