IMPERGUARD is designed for both indoor and outdoor use on any kind of porous material, (although this type of treatment is relevant only for vertical or steeply sloping surfaces). Natural stone, concrete, terracotta, cement and self-locking paving may all be treated with this product.
IMPERGUARD is an environmentally-friendly water-borne treatment, (non toxic, solvent-free) that protects all porous materials from the problems associated with water penetration.
IMPERGUARD is an impregnation treatment that offers long-lasting protection against rain penetration in walls without preventing their breathing (walls remain permeable to air and water vapour).
IMPERGUARD is completely colourless after application and does not change the appearance or composition of the material treated. It is UV-resistant and does not discolor with age.
Moreover, the presence of surfactants in the product lowers the surface tension of the solution and means equally good results can be obtained as when using a solvent-borne product.
In the majority of cases, IMPERGUARD's water repelling qualities become fully effective two to five days after application.
