Owatrol Oil for Treating Rusted Surfaces

• Owatrol Oil, for treating rusted surfaces:
• Ensure surface is dry and free from oil and grease.
• Remove any loose or flakey material.
• Do not remove firm rust.
• Apply Owatrol Oil wet on wet, as fast as rust will absorb it until an even sheen is achieved.
• Leave Owatro Oil to dry (24 hours).
• Apply finish coats.
• For lightly rusted surfaces use a mixture of 1 part Owatrol Oil to 2 parts Metal Primer.
• Do not mix or overcoat Owatrol Oil with paints containing 'hot' solvents ie. Xylene or two part coatings.
• Increases actual paint coverage by up to 25% or more.
• Makes paint STICK. Eliminates peeling.
• Adds to paint quality for long lasting finish.
• Owatrol Oil keeps wet edge open longer.
• Coverage: approx. 18m²/ 1L.
• Owatrol Oil is available in 500 ML. 1 Litre and 5 Litres.
