Rust Oleum Alkythane 7500 Rust-Inhibitive Metal Top Coat
Rustoleum Mathys 7500 Alkythane is a corrosion resistant top coat developed for use to low temperatures on metal. Even at 5C Alkythane 7500 is touch dry after 2.5 hours and reaches 90% of its protective effect in a short time.
This metal top coat paint is enriched with rust-resistant pigments and so provides sufficient corrosion protection with just one coat on already painted surface in light industrial settings - a second coat provides protection in more aggressive industrial environments.
Use Rustoleum Mathys 7500 Alkythane for metal and plastic in industrial or domestic settings. Suitable for railings, garage doors, buildings, machines etc
Suitable for steel, wood, and after one coat of Galvinoleum 3202 to galvanised steel, zinc, copper and many plastics.
7500 offers corrosion protection in a light industrial environment.
For metal structures in a more aggressive industrial environment, prior application of a RUST-OLEUM Alkyd primer or an extra coat of Alkythane 7500 is recommended.
Resistant to mould and algae growth (except clear)
Modified with urethane, making the top coat extra strong, with better resistance to UV light as well as being dust repellent.
Can be applied between 5 and 35 C.
7500 Alkythane Metal is intended for brush and roller application, can be applied by air spray.
