Rustoleum 769 Damp Proof Rust Primer for Metal
Rustoleum 769 Damp Proof Rust Primer is specially developed for use on manually de-rusted metal (steel) surface.Apply directly to the metal, driving out air and moisture (the causes of rust). It is durable anti-rust primer that protects against corrosion and can be overcoated with virtually any paint system. Its formula is based on fish oil containing alkyd resin which ensures a very low surface tension.
Contains rust-inhibitive pigments and is lead and chromate free.
Minimum surface preparation required.
Can be exposed for a period of up to one year without top coating.
Drives out air and moisture and encapsulates rusted metal.
Very low odour. Intend for brush application, can be applied by roller and spray.
Available in other colours by special order.
Theoretical coverage rate is 14 m2 per litre . Available in 1 and 5 litre paint tins.
