• Suitable for exterior and interior for use on bare or previously varnished surfaces.
• On exposure to fire Thermoguard Fire Varnish expands to create a fire protective barrier to insulate timber surfaces from heat and oxygen.
• Thermoguard Fire Varnish Intumescent Basecoat must be used in conjuction with Thermoguard Fire Varnish Overcoat (Gloss, Satin and Matt).  
• Rated to BS476 Part 7: Class 1 surface spread of flame and BS476 Part 6: Fire propagation.
• Thermoguard Fire Varnish Intumescent is designated Class 'O' Spread of Flame in accordance with UK Building Regulations.
• Provides fire protection for prepared timber and timber derivative surfaces.
• Thermoguard Fire Varnish Intumescent is applied by paint brush, roller or spray.
• Available in 20 m2 containers.
