Thermoguard Timbercoat Intumescent Fire Proof Coating for Wood
Thermoguard Timbercoat is a ready to use intumescent paint (fire protection coating) suitable for bare or previously painted timber and wood derivative surfaces.
Thermoguard Timbercoat expands to create a fire protective barrier when exposed to fire, insulating the timber surfaces from heat and oxygen thereby helping to control the spread of flames and fire propagation.

Thermoguard Timbercoat has been tested to the appropriate standards BS476 Part 7: Class 1 surface spread of flame BS476 Part 6: Fire propagation
Designated Class 0 in accordance with U.K. Building Regulations.
User and environmentally friendly a low odour, water-based system
Can be overcoated with our flame retardant paint – available in BS4800, RAL and metallic colours.
Thermoguard Timbercoat Application
Can be applied by paint brush, roller or spray.
Class 1 and Class 0: Apply 2 coats of Thermoguard Timbercoat at 7m sq. per litre per coat.
