It produces a microporous, flexible coating with excellent opacity and a low-sheen finish.
Use Solignum Architectural for painting windows, doors, cladding, facias, fences, conservatories, sheds, gates etc.
Easily applied by brush or spray.
It is ideal for solvent preservative treated timber.
Solignum Architectural penetrates the surface of the timber giving good adhesion so that no primer is required, and the surface will not crack or peel.
Solignum Architectural resists mould growth and protects timber from the harmful effects of UV light.
Solignum Architectural is a genuine low maintenance product requiring very little maintenance to preserve its colour and strength.
BBA certified for in excess of 5 years - before redecoration should become necessary.
Apply 2 coats on vertical surfaces, apply 3 coats on horizontal surfaces at correct coverage rates.
Apply Solignum Architectural Solvent Based Opaque Finish by brush, roller or conventional spray (which may require thining by up to 10% with clean white spirit).
Coverage will vary depending on the porosity and surface profile.
Sawn timber 5-14 m2 per litre per coat. Planed timber 14-18 square meters per litre per coat.
