3M Scotchkote 166L Rapid Setting Polymeric Lining, has been specially manufactured and developed for in-situ application to the internals of small diameter pipelines used for supplying drinking water to domestic and commercial properties.
3M Scotchkote 166L Rapid Setting Polymeric Lining has been formulated in way that allows for air vortex technology application in small pipelines and is ideal for use among all industries associated with drinking water pipelines.
3M Scotchkote 166L Rapid Setting Polymeric Lining should only be applied by a professionally certified contractor using forced vortex air technology. Once applied normal service can be resumed after 4 hours after the material has fully cured.

3M Scotchkote 166L Rapid Setting Polymeric Lining can be applied to most pipelines associated with drinking water, most commonly made out of steel.
- It has been specifically formulated for application via forced air vortex technology to small diameter communication pipes within the drinking water network.
- Rapid cure time allowing return to service procedures to commence after 4 hours.
- Approved for use under Regulation 31(4)(a) of the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations.
- Theoretical coverage 1 m2 per litre at 1000 microns dft.
