3M Scotchkote Acrylic Sealer BS 848 is a single component, clear, solvent based economical sealer for porous surfaces. This product is clear, meaning it provides seamless and secure sealing. It can be used in all porous masonry and cementitious surfaces, making it a very versatile product. 3M Scotchkote Acrylic Sealer BS 848 also hard dries in only 2 hours, making the whole process a very simple and fast one.
3M Scotchkote Acrylic Sealer BS 848 is intended for use on porous masonry and cementitious surfaces, and is ideal to use in conjunction with 3M Scotchkote Reinforced Wall Protection System CSM 844. This product can also be overcoated using a 3M Scotchkote water-based primer/finisher, should this be desired.
3M Scotchkote Acrylic Sealer BS 848 is best applied using rollers, but can also be applied with the use of a brush. The product will be dry to the touch in 1.5 hours, and will be hard dry in 2 hours. 3M Scotchkote Acrylic Sealer BS 848 is available in 5 litre units, with a theoretical coverage rate of 10m2, per litre, at 40 microns dft.
Surface and Environment
3M Scotchkote Acrylic Sealer BS 848 is intended for use on porous masonry and cementitious surfaces. All surfaces that this product is to be applied to should be clean, dry and free from contamination, prior to application. Not only is this product easy to apply, it dries in a small amount of time, making it an excellent product to use when efficiency is a priority.
