Scotchkote WS 826 Urethane Sealer, formerly Thortex Floor-Tech WS, is ahigh performance product, from 3M Scotchkote, that works to provide a low gloss finish for use over floor screeds.
Scotchkote WS 826 Urethane Sealer has been specifically designed to provide a sealer for use over floor screeds, offering a coating that can be easily cleaned once applied. Based on a waterborne formula, Scotchkote WS 826 Urethane Sealer does not pose any health and safety risks during application as there will be no solvents present in the air.
Scotchkote WS 826 Urethane Sealer should be applied using a quality brush or a medium piled mohair roller, using even strokes to ensure a uniform finish. Scotchkote WS 826 Urethane Sealer has a touch dry time of just 4 hours with a theoretical coverage rate of 10m2 per litre at 50 microns dft.
Surface and Environment
Scotchkote WS 826 Urethane Sealer can be used internally or externally on screeded floor surfaces offering excellent resistance to aqueous solutions oils, fats and most floor cleaning chemicals all the while protected the surface against abrasion damage.
