Coo-Var Q221 Profloor Plus Cold Cure is a two pack epoxy floor coating capable of curing at low temperatures, indoors and outdoors.Coo-Var Q221 Profloor is an extra heavy duty floor paint providing an extremely hard wearing surface with a gloss finish. One of the main features of this floor paint is its ability to cure at low temperatures (between 0 and 10°C) and has zero VOC. Profloor Plus is particularly valuable for applications at colder times of the year when the temperature is too low for Coo-Var Q221 Profloo.
As Coo-Var Q221 Profloor Plus Cold Cure is a low odour product, it is ideal for use in the food industry, for example in preparation, processing and storage areas or bakeries, dairies and breweries etc. Areas where solvent based products would be unsuitable. The hard wearing, chemical and oil resistant properties also make Coo-Var Q221 Profloor Plus Cold Cure ideal to use in showrooms, display areas, supermarkets, warehouses and workshops.
The base and hardener should be conditioned at normal room temperature, making the mixing process easier. The working temperatures of the area to be coated, should not be allowed to fall below 0°C, throughout the application and curing period. If this criteria is not observed the cure of the material will be retarded and surface finish adversely affected. Ensure that the floor area is clear and prepared, and that all equipment is readily available prior to mixing. Mix the entire contents of the base with the hardener thoroughly, using a slow speed electric mixer. Take care to mix the product thoroughly but do not over mix as this will reduce working time with the product.
Surfaces and Environment
Coo-Var Q221 Profloor Plus Cold Cure floor coating is suitable for use in most industrial environments. It can be used on concrete, polymer screeds, asphalt etc. and provides a durable, decorative, attractive and easily cleanable surface. The low cure temperature makes this product particularly useful in the coating of areas where it is difficult to maintain a surface temperature above 10°C during the application and curing period.
