PPG Dimetcote 11 is a single pack inorganic zinc silicate used in heavy industrial and construction environment and has been formulated to protect the surface from dry heat of up to 400°C.

PPG SigmaZinc 11 (Dimetcote 11) is a grey, one component, inorganic, zinc silicate coating designed to provide users with quick drying properties that can be recoated quickly after a short interval, and has good anti corrosive properties suitable for use on metal substrates.

Best Uses

PPG SigmaZinc 11 is most effective when used on steel or blasted steel, to produce a grey flat finish that looks great on the eye while doing its utmost to protect the surface from natural atmospheric conditions, internally or externally.

Application

PPG SigmaZinc 11 can be applied using brush, roller or spray and is dry to touch after just 4 minutes at 20°C. After 16 hours your surface will be ready for an overcoating that offers a theoretical coverage rate of 8.9m2 per litre.

Surface and Environment

PPG SigmaZinc 11 can be used in heavy industrial and construction environment where there is an element of heat concern, and this product works well at protecting the surface from dry heat of up to 400°C. Clean up with PPG Thinner 21-06.
