Rustoleum Fassitek is a solvent based stain with a base of special alkyd resins. These stains are very effective in impregnating wood and protecting many types of wood from weathering and UV rays.
Rustoleum Fassitek is part of Rustoleum's excellent selection exterior paints and stains designed for protecting and decorating wood.
Rustoleum Fassitek offers protection for external wood with excellent UV-rays and weather resistance, and allows for easier maintenance.
Rustoleum Fassitek is transparent and colour fast and will accentuate wood grain. It is a very penetrating product and microporous, so no risk of blisters or peeling off - not a film former.
New wood: rub down and make it dust free. Tropical wood is degreased with white spirit, Afzelia with ammonia water. Old stripped paint: rub down up to the bare not impregnated wood fibre and make dust free. Maintenance on Fassitek: clean substrate with white spirit and apply 2 or 3 thin coats.
To ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.
