Johnstone’s Anti Slip Flortred is a single pack finish which is suitable for use on internal concrete, steel and wooden floors in light to medium traffic areas as well as exterior use to highlight walkways, car park spaces and other markings.
Johnstones Anti Slip FlorTred is an ideal floor paint for light to medium traffic areas, where slip resistance is essential, such as walkways, doorways, ramps & steps.
As suitable for exterior use to highlight walkways, car park spaces and other markings. However, this product is not suitable for use on large external areas.
It provides a semi gloss finish with a light aggregate for slip resistance. Tested to BS7976 Parts 1-3 for slip resistance, Anti Slip Flortred achieves a ’Low Slip Potential’ classification according to the H.S.E. in both dry and wet conditions.

All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose or flaking material. New concrete or cement should be allowed to mature for several months before painting. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
Stir well before use. Apply by brush or roller which should be fully loaded for best results. Apply paint evenly by brush and avoid overspreading. Touch dry in 4-6 hours. Recoatable after 16-24 hours. To ease application, the first coat maybe thinned with up to 5% by volume of TC2 Thinner and Cleaner. Allow to dry overnight before applying a second coat, if required.
