Johnstone's Trade Aluminium Paint is ideal for the exterior of storage tanks, ducting and pipework. Avoid areas that are consistently handled to prevent the transfer of aluminium. Withstand temperatures up to 150˚C, Johnstone's Trade Aluminium Paint also benefits from solar reflective properties.
All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Any rust should be removed by wire brushing. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone's Specialist Primer. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal, as they may contain harmful lead.
Stir well. Easy to apply by brush or roller. Do not apply over polystyrene surfaces.
