Keim Anti-Graffiti Wax Coating is a two coat semi-permanent anti-graffiti system made from polymers and water based wax.
KEIM Wax Coating is suitable for all mineral surfaces and for surfaces which have been treated with KEIM Mineral Paints. The product is made with polymers and synthetic water-based wax and is designed to be easily removed and re-applied. Graffiti can be removed using a high pressure sprayer or by using KEIM Wax Coating Graffiti Cleaner. KEIM Wax Coating has a low sheen finish and does not significantly darken the surface to which it is applied.
- Easy to apply
- Non flammable
- Easy to remove graffiti and recoat
- High vapour permeability
Remove any graffiti using a high pressure sprayer or by using Keim Graffiti Cleaner. All loose, flaking and unstable material must be identified and then thoroughly removed, all surfaces must be thoroughly washed down with clean cold water to remove all surface dirt and dust. When all surfaces are clean, sound, wind dry, dust free and free from all surface contaminants, application of Keim Wax Coating may proceed.
We would recommend that a two coat Keim Anti-Graffiti Wax Coating system be used, applied with 4 hours between coats. Each coat is applied working from the top downwards by low-pressure spray (hold the nozzle 10-20cm from the surface), apply the first coat horizontally and then the second coat vertically (cross-coats) thus ensuring that all facets of the substrate are well coated. Application using brush, roller or an airless spray gun is also possible. To effect the removal of subsequent graffiti damage for best results remove as soon as possible after the graffiti has been applied. Graffiti can be removed using high pressure sprayer (80°C at a pressure of 60-90 BAR).

The manufacturers data sheets are available for download from this website. It is your responsibility to read and understand all aspects of the data sheets before you place an order and prior to application. Please pay special attention to the preparation, mixing and application temperatures of the product, cleaning of substrate and environmental factors such as temperature, rain etc. Quoted coverage rates are based on the manufacturers theoretical rates and may vary depending upon substrates absorption, texture and application. We always recommend a test is carried out to ensure suitability.
