Product Description

Tensid LFP Line Marking Paint has been specifically developed as a fast drying line marking coating for concrete surfaces with minimum disruption internally and externally.

Best Uses

LuL APR No. 5068 - This product is approved on the London Underground Approved Product Register for overground and underground line marking.

  • Combines good application with excellent adhesion to concrete
  • Designed for application by brush or roller
  • Suitable for return to service in 11/2 hours
  • Where a slip resistant finish is required, granular aggregate can be applied onto the paint and rolled in
  • Suitable for internal and external use

Application

All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from loose material. Concrete Surfaces should have all surface laitance removed by mechanical means. Very porous surfaces can be primed first. Asphalt Surfaces should be detergent cleaned and then primed. Metal Surfaces should be either abrasive blasted or prepared by grinding to create a coarse profile and then primed.

The product is a two component material, Part A, a base and Part B, an activator which must be mixed together before use. Part A should be stirred and whilst stirring Part B, the activator should be added. The mixing should continue until a homogeneous mix is achieved. The use of a mechanical mixer is recommended to ensure thorough and complete mixing. The mixed product must be used within 20 minutes of mixing at 20°C.

Application should not be carried out when the surface to be coated is less than 3°C above the dew point. Whilst there is no restriction on humidity levels during application, high levels will increase the rate of cure. The product should be applied by brush or roller to give a smooth uniform coating. Medium pile rollers are recommended.
