Linitop Primer and Finish is a multi purpose, semi-transparent, dry film anti-fungal penetrating wood stain suitable for both interior and exterior use.

Best Uses

Linitop Primer and Finish is perfect for staining sheds and summerhouses, priming wood before using another wood stain if required, protecting wood subject to movement, achieving a fungicidal protection and more.

Suitable as a coloured base for other Linitop stains and varnishes, this product includes both primer and finish in one 3 coat system by impregnating the wood. Linitop Primer and Finish wood stain has 3 main functions – its primary use is as a standalone protective wood stain with a 3-coat application system. Additionally, it can be used as a coloured primer for Linitop Classic. This will give a deeper and more rich coloured finish than using Linitop Classic alone. Finally, you can also use Linitop Primer and Finish as a coloured base for clear varnishes such as Linitop Yacht Vernis. In this case you would use a single coat of Primer and Finish, followed by 2 coats of the varnish.

Application

Always apply Linitop Primer and Finish in the direction of the wood grain. On new wood or bare wood it is recommended that an insecticide, fungicide and anti-blue stain agent is used prior to application. If using Linitop Primer and Finish as a coloured base coat before another finish apply a single coat first. Without sanding follow with 2 coats of your chosen finish, sanding in-between the two coats.
