Centrecoat Elastomeric Solar Reflective Roof Coating is a water based Solar Reflective Paint best used in areas where UV light and weathering is of a concern. With a reflective surface created, Centrecoat Elastomeric Solar Reflective Roof Coating prevents the surface from warming up whilst remaining water vapour permeable.
Best Uses
Centrecoat Elastomeric Solar Reflective Roof Coating can be applied to metal roofs and most bituminous products such as roofing felt and offers up to 400% elasticity which helps reduce cracking. A further benefit offered is that this product can be applied to a damp surface, making it ideal for application in Spring and Autumn as well as Summer.
Application
The substrate must be clean, free from peeling, dust and dirt. Bridge cracks and fissures with Rust-Oleum Dacfill Mesh. Fill up joints with Rust-Oleum Elastofill. Very porous substrates have to be primed first with Rust-Oleum Primer 44HS. Centrecoat Elastomeric Solar Reflective Roof Coating can be directly applied on metals (except new galvanised steel), roofing and most bituminous products (> 1 year). Centrecoat Elastomeric Solar Reflective Roof Coating can be applied without any problem on most waterbased products like Rust-Oleum Dacfill and Rust-Oleum Noxyde.
