Johnstone's Anti Slip Additive is a silica quartz based additive powder to give smooth floor paints a tough and durable slip resistant performance to Johnstone's Floor Paints. Ideal for use in areas prone to slip risk.
Johnstone's Anti Slip Additive provides an anti-slip surface that is very tough, and durable. For use with all Johnstone’s Floor Coatings.
Add directly to the paint, just before use at the rate of 0.5–2kg per 5 litre tin of paint and mix thoroughly. Weight of product used will depend on the degree of slip resistance required. Alternatively sprinkle directly onto wet application of the floor coating at a rate of 0.5kg to 1kg per square metre. When the coating is dry, any excess Anti Slip Additive should be swept away and a further 1 or 2 coats of the floor coating can be applied to seal the aggregate thoroughly, although this may reduce the slip resistance.
