Mapei Silancolor Cleaner Plus is an odourless water solution cleaning product for the hygiene of walls.
Available with a smooth finish, Mapei Silancolor Cleaner Plus is a mould and mildew resistant product designed to be used with the Silancolor Plus Mapei range.
Best Uses
Mapei Silancolor Cleaner Plus is best used to clean surfaces damaged by mildew and mould before painting with the Silancolor Plus protection system. This product is best used for deep down cleaning of façades prior to the new coats of paint. Suitable for close in or poorly ventilated areas. Do not use on metal or wet surfaces.
Application
Ensure the area is well patched with repair mortar and well cured, perfectly clean, sound and dry. Remove all traces of oil or grease from the surface and areas that are not well attached. Seal any cracks. Dilute 300% with water and ensure substrate and air temperature is between 5° C and 35°C. Apply with a low-pressure manual spray gun or brush. Repeat as necessary. Protect from rain for at least 8 hours.
