3M Scotchkote LS 3000 Intumescent Coating, formerly, Copon LS3000, is a high solids coating, that has been specifically developed for use on steel and timber substrates.
3M Scotchkote LS 3000 Intumescent Coating is ideal for use on a variety of different appliances including interior cladding and other internal timber surfaces. 3M Scotchkote LS 3000 Intumescent Coating can be used domestically or commercially to offer an element of fire resistance that works to reduce spread of flame, Fire Resistance to Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame BS476 -7 at 150 microns dft on mild steel, 200 microns dft on marine plywood.
3M Scotchkote LS 3000 Intumescent Coating can be applied quickly and efficiently using airless or conventional spray, with a touch dry time of 3 hours than be overcoated after 16 hours. 3M Scotchkote LS 3000 can also be applied by brush and roller.
Surface and Environment
3M Scotchkote LS 3000 Intumescent Coating can be used internally or externally on all surfaces made out of timber and steel, offering excellent fire resistance to any surface it is applied to.
