Selemix 7-110 Acrylic 2 Pack Topcoat is formulated with acrylic enamel for a very high gloss finish, excellent colour fastness and resistance to atmospheric attack.

Please note, the Hardener is not included with this product. Compatible Hardener is Selemix Hardener 9-080.

Selemix 7-110 Acrylic 2 Pack Topcoat is perfect for application on ferrous metal, bare steel, cars, truck, agricultural equipment, tractors, ploughs, plant equipment, screed pumps, rollers, earth movers, workshop equipment, garages doors, roller shutters, light industrial equipment plus many more.

Selemix 7-110 Acrylic 2 Pack Topcoat is part of the Selemix range of 2 part spray applied coatings. Due to is formulation the product with provide excellent gloss level and can also be supplied in metallic gloss colours, as well as any RAL, BS or NCS Colour codes. When used with the correct primer, Selemix 7-110 will prevent and resist corrosion caused by atmospheric attack. Selemix 7-110 is made of an acrylic enamel meaning is has a very high gloss finish and provides good levels colourfastness. The product is also fast drying and can touch dry is as little as 30-40 mins in the right conditions saving both costs, labour and downtime.

Best Uses

Selemix 7-110 is best used to over coat Selemix Primers 7-413 & 7-414 to provide a high gloss, durable and corrosion resistant finish.

When being used in the applicable Selemix system, Selemix 7-110 is ideal for application onto bare steel, phosphated steel or on previously applied coatings, suitable for airport ground support equipment, cars, truck, workshop machines, electrical generator cabins and general engineering equipment, agricultural and construction equipment such as excavators, earthmovers, screed pumps, dumpers, tractor, harvesters, plus many more.

Application

Selemix is to be applied as a top coat on Selemix primers 7-413 & 7-414.  Prepare the surface by light sanding and thoroughly degreasing prior to painting.

Selemix 7-110 will need to mixed in the correct ratio with Selemix Hardener 9-080 prior to application at a general ratio by volume of 5:3:1 (Selemix 7-110:Hardener:Thinner).

Selemix 7-110 can be applied by both airless and conventional spray equipment and will require thinning with Selemix Thinners 1-430 or 1-470.

Suitable Substrates: Selemix 2K Epoxy Primers / Selemix 2K Epoxy Vinyl Primers, Old Finishes or Polyurethane and polyester fillers.
Compatible Primers: Selemix 7-413 2 Pack Epoxy Primer, Selemix 7-414 2 Pack Epoxy Vinyl Primer.
Compatible Thinners: Selemix 1-430 Acrylic Thinner, Selemix Thinner 1-470

Application Method: Conventional Spray, Airmix Spray, Electrostatic Spray
Theoretical Coverage: 7.6 - 8.8m2 per litre ready to spray giving a 40 micron thickness.
Recommended Dry Film Thickness (DFT): 50 microns per coat.
Drying Time: 30-40 minutes at 60°C.
Overcoat Time: Always possible after sanding.
