Best Uses

Sika Sikafloor-263SL N is used as self-smoothing and broadcast systems for concrete and cement screeds. It is recommended for use in areas of normal to medium heavy wear, such as storage, multi-storey car parks, maintenance workshops and garages, etc. Suitable as a slip resistant broadcast system for multi-storey and underground car park decks, maintenance hangars and for wet process areas, e.g. beverage and food industry.

  • Seamless and hygienic
  • Filled with aggregate for economical and heavy duty resin screeds
  • Good chemical and mechanical resistance
  • Easy application
  • Waterproof
  • Gloss finish
  • Slip resistant surface to suit clients requirements
  • Low maintenance

Application

The concrete substrate must be sound and of sufficient compressive strength. The substrate must clean, dry and free of all contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, coatings and surface treatments. The product must be mechanically stirred, after confirming the substrate moisture content, r.h. and dew point. Application will be with a serrated trowel and spiked roller. Please see Product Data Sheet for more information.

Surface and Environment

Concrete substrates must be mechanically prepared, using abrasive blast cleaning or scarifying equipment, to remove cement laitance and achieve an open textured surface. All dust, weak concrete, loose and friable material must be completely removed from all surfaces. The substrate and uncured floor must be at least 3°C.
