The superior priming and sealing properties of Zinsser AllCoat Commercial WB eliminate the need for a separate primer. AllCoat Commercial WB hides bright colours and wall patterns and generally covers and seals most surfaces in one coat. AllCoat Commercial WB resists flash-rust over ferrous metals. Resists grain raise over new wood and trim-work and sands to a powder within 1 hour, making AllCoat Commercial WB an enamel undercoat.
AllCoat Commercial WB is compatible over & under all alkyd and acrylic paints. Dries super fast with very low odour & is great for brush, roller or spray applications over all interior surfaces including; finished & unfinished walls, doors, trim and ceilings of refits and commercial properties like supermarkets, warehouses & factories – anywhere a fast-drying, high-adhesion multi-surface finish is needed. Due to its flat matt finish, AllCoat Commercial WB Black is ideal for use on walls and ceilings in theatres, music venues, cinemas and darkrooms.
Ideal for use on interior substrates including: New cured plaster, drywall, cement, poured concrete, stucco, wood or metal doors, windows, paneling and trim; aluminum and clean galvanized metal, PVC, glossy laminates and other interior surfaces.
Zinsser AllCoat Commercial WB offers tenacious adhesion over a wide range of surfaces. This special formula contains unique polymers developed and manufactured by Zinsser that allow direct application over glossy paints and clear finishes, Formica®, Plastisol, UPVC, metals, fiberglass – even ceramic tile – without pre sanding or surface de-glossing.
A single coat of high build AllCoat Commercial WB is usually all that is needed to hide dark colours and seal porous surfaces. The superior priming and sealing properties of AllCoat Commercial WB eliminate the need for a separate primer.
Surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free of dust, dirt, excessive chalky material, grime, grease, oil, wax, mildew, wallpaper adhesive or any contamination that may interfere with adhesion. If unsure, always wash surface with an appropriate cleaning solution such as Zinsser Universal Degreaser & Cleaner. Ensure the substrate is completely dry, maximum moisture content of 16% prior to painting. Remove any unsoundly adhered coatings. Sand any remaining paint film edges smooth with the surface. Attempt to remove existing stains by washing, sanding, scraping, etc. Remove interior mildew with Zinsser Mould Killer & Remover. Countersink exposed nail heads, spot-prime and fill. Wire brush rusty areas. Clean new galvanized metal with methylated spirit to remove oils. Spot prime knots and sap streaks with Zinsser B-I-N® before priming full surface with Zinsser AllCoat Commercial WB.
Stir well before use. Apply with a synthetic bristle brush, roller or pad applicator or sprayer. Follow manufacturer’s instructions when using spray equipment. Airless spraying - use a .015” to .017” tip at 2000 to 2500 P.S.I. If thinning is required add no more than 10% clean water and apply a second coat. Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 10° and 32°C, and relative humidity is less than 85%.
