Jotun Penguard Tie Coat 100 is a two component, polyamide cured, high molecular weight epoxy coating, specially designed as a tie coat / sealer on top of inorganic zinc silicate primers, galvanised steel and thermally sprayed zinc.

Best Uses

Jotun Penguard Tie Coat is a two component polyamide cured epoxy coating. It is suitable for structural steel and piping exposed to highly corrosive environments. Recommended for offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings and mining equipment. Formulated as a primer in a complete system in atmospheric environments.

Application

Jotun Penguard Tie Coat should be applied with an airless or conventional spray. The use of a brush is recommended for stripe coating or small areas. For Galvanised Steel prepare by light brush blasting using non metallic abrasive leaving a clean, rough and even pattern. For coated surfaces clean, dry and undamaged compatible coating.
