Rustoleum Parafix Primer is a fixation primer designed for use on bituminous flat roofs and other bituminous substrates before the application of a waterproof coating. Rustoleum Parafix Primer is an ideal for primer for use in conjunction with Rustoleum Dacfill or Rustoleum Dacfill HZ. Rustoleum Parafix Primer is based on acrylic dispersions that offers a glossy, colourless impregnating finish.
Rustoleum Parafix Primer is best used on Bituminous surfaces such as flat roofs and other porous substrates before the application of waterborne paints. Rustoleum Parafix Primer works excellently well at preventing absorption of water and moisture. Parafix Primer works better than other conventional roof primers as it offers outstanding protection and can be used as a priming undercoat for Paracem and Paracem Semi-Gloss.
Rustoleum Parafix Primer can be applied using brush, roller or spray. Use Spray and Roller for quick and easy coverage over a large surface area and brush for touching up and priming of smaller, trickier areas. Rustoleum Parafix Primer will be touch dry after approximately 4 hours and can be recoated after roughly 24 hours. Rustoleum Parafix Primer can be cleaned and thinned with water where necessary and has fantastic coverage rates of 5-10m2 per litre.

Primarily Rustoleum Parafix Primer is used as a Primer for Roofing and works well as an undercoat that offers waterproofing and abrasion resisting properties.
