PPG SigmaCover 900 fills holes up to 3cm, smoothing rough surfaces and offers an adhesive coat to steel and concrete surfaces which does not shrink.

SigmaCover 900 is a two component solvent free amine cured epoxy filler with good insulating properties for dielectric shielding of impressed current anodes of cathodic protection system.

Best Uses

PPG SigmaCover 900 can be used as a filler to fill holes of up to 3cm in one application and can also be used to smooth rough surfaces. SigmaCover 900 offers excellent adhesion to concrete and steel substrates and will not shrink over time due to its outstanding micro-porous properties.

Application

PPG SigmaCover 900 can be applied using a putty knife after the two components have been mixed specifically. SigmaCover 900 should not be applied at conditions below 15 degrees celsius as the product may not adhere to the surface in these conditions, increasing the drying time of the product. Once the components have been mixed, the substance should be applied within 45 minutes, so it doesn't dry out.

Surface and Environment

PPG SigmaCover 900 can be applied to all steel and concrete surfaces, requiring light repairs. Ensure they are clean and free from all contaminations that may disrupt the application process or affect the product performance. SigmaCover 900 can be used in a variety of environments where concrete and steel needs to be rejuvenated or smoothed; drying to form an ultra hard coating.
