PPG SigmaGuard 730 is a two component, high solids polyamine cured phenolic epoxy coating for use as a tank coating when short, low temperature curing periods are required.
PPG SigmaGuard 730 is best used as a tank coating as it has a good chemical resistant against a wide range of chemicals and can be used under insulation up to 150°C. An easy to clean coating with a short curing period and can be cured at low temperatures. Suitable a a tank lining for jet fuel tanks.
Blast clean steel to a minimum of ISO-Sa2 1/2 blasting profile 40 - 70 microns. Substrate temperature should be above 5°C and during application must be at least 3°C above dew point. Apply using airless spray, conventional spray, or brush and roller for stripe coating or spot repair only.
