PPG SigmaGuard 790 is a two component reinforced high solids polyamide adduct cured epoxy coating particularly designed for application to waste water slurries, due to the protective, water resistant properties that 790 obtains.
PPG SigmaGuard 790 is best used for providing water and chemical resistance to a number of substrates, however overexposure to UV light might affect colour and gloss retention. SigmaGuard 790 provides a coating that is easily cleaned so all chemical build up or residue can be removed efficiently, helping you maintain the surface.
PPG SigmaGuard 790 can be applied easily using brush, air or airless spray to produce a greenish, grey, glossy finish. After 3-4 hours you will have a high quality finish that is dry to touch and after 16 hours you will be able to recoat the surface.
