PPG are one of the leading suppliers of temperature indicator paint, Sigmarite 37-B-1 Temperature Indicator Paint has been formulated to change colour at varying temperatures indicating if your surface is hot. This highly sought after temperature indicator paint has a trigger and changes colour from blue to white when temperatures of the surface the paint has been applied to reaches over 200 degrees C.
PPG Sigmarite 37-B-1 Temperature Indicator Paint should be applied over Sigmazinc 11 on a variety of surfaces where temperature needs to be monitored.
Due to the expansive properties of this temperature indication paint you can use a variety of methods to apply Sigmarite 37-B-1. Apply using a paint brush, roller or airless spray, see data sheet.
Surface and Environment
PPG Sigmarite 37-B-1 is generally used on steel surfaces. Once primed with PPG SigmaZinc 11, Sigmarite 37-B-1 temperature indication paint is designed to withstand temperatures of over 200 degrees centigrate indicated by a colour change from blue to white. For this reason Sigmarite 37-B-1 is suitable for use in multiple environments.
