Bird Brand Premium Barn Paint is a water based paint for painting wooden cladding plastic, masonry and previous coatings.
Bird Brand Premium Barn Paint is a flexible water based acrylic paint that can also be applied onto previously painted Bird Brand Black Tar Varnish, Bituminous Paint and Creosoted surfaces. Rather than flake or crack the finish will flex and keep a gloss appearance despite UV exposure and intense weathering from rain and sun.
This Barn Paint is ideal for decorating not only commercial buildings but is ideally suited for residential barns and other wooden structures also. Use Barn Paint on timber boards, wooden cladding, plastic gutters and downpipes and many other surfaces around the home.
Bird Brand Premium Barn Paint offers excellent coverage of 50m2 of porous timber (10m2 per litre) and 13m2 per litre on plastic.
A separate primer is not required except on mild steel due to avoid the possibility of any flash rusting. In this case use Bird Brand Red Oxide Primer. For the White Barn Paint please note to minimise resin and or yellow discolouration of the coating a blocking primer should be used on timber i.e. Classidur Universal Xtrem.
- Use over Creosote, Black Tar Varnish, Bitumminious Paint
- Premium Barn Paint offer high adhesion
- Will not crack, flake or blister
