Product Description

Remmers Arte Mundit is a self-vulcanising cleaning paste for thorough, water free removal of dust, soot, nicotine residue and other soiling on interior walls, ceilings, floors, stucco, natural stone, marble, concrete, brick, render, gypsum sculptures, polished wood, synthetic materials, etc.

Best Uses

Remmers Arte Mundit is an environmentally correct cleaning paste on a natural raw material base. The fresh product vulcanises by drying into an elastic rubber with good soil binding capacity. Arte Mundit does not contain any organic solvents, surface active agents or inorganic salts.

The A-components in the Arte Mundit programme differ in their reactivity and compatibility with auxiliary agents. Arte Mundit Type I is a modified latex emulsion that is always used without an additive. After activation with the B component, Arte Mundit Types II, III and V contain varying concentrations of complexing agents and cleaning intensifiers that either volatilize during vulcanisation or are bound into the dry film.

A contamination of the substrate with these substances is therefore not possible.

  • Cleans practically all surfaces, also sensitive, valuable substrates.
  • Easy to apply by spray or brush
  • Odourless
  • No chemical after-effects
  • User-friendly and highly efficient
  • Existing salts are not dissolved again in the stone mass
  • Also cleans pores and deeper profiles

An introduction to working with Arte Mundit should be given before work is started.

Version Suitable For Make Up
Type I Physical cleaning for lightly adhering dirt Pure natural latex dispersion
Type II Special cleaner for marble Natural latex dispersion + 1.01 Kg additive
Type III Physical and chemical cleaning for general impurities Natural latex dispersion + 2.86 Kg additive
Type V Especially for cleaning fire residue Natural latex dispersion + 3.84 Kg additive

Application

The substrate to be cleaned must be dry and free from dust and loose deposits. All surfaces not to be treated, varnished areas, sensitive metals, etc. should be protected from contact with Arte Mundit (e.g. by covering with PE film).

Temperature of material, surroundings and substrate: +5°C - +30°C. Stir Arte Mundit well, add the B component if required, mix thoroughly and then apply to the substrate which has been coarsely cleaned with a brush, using a suitable tool and covering the entire surface. Fill undercut areas and contours thoroughly with Arte Mundit.

After thorough drying, the film is removed by carefully pulling it off (e.g. from the top left towards the bottom right), keeping tensile force as constant as possible. This is carried out in general approx. 24 hours after application. Avoid waiting times that are longer (more than 3 days) since the elasticity of the film is lost, making it much more difficult to pull off.

When Arte Mundit Type I is used, the surfaces do not need to be washed off afterwards. Surfaces treated with the activated Types II, III and V are cleaned again after the vulcanised material has been pulled off by wiping off with a sponge dampened with just a little clean water, starting at the highest point. If necessary, a medium-hard (nylon) brush can be used for somewhat more intensive cleaning. Use as little water as possible.
