PRODUCT DETAILS
Remmers Water Stop VF Tapes are high quality sealing tapes which are based on nitrile rubber and coated with a non-woven fabric.
Best Uses
Remmers Water Stop Tape VF is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and can be used in the following instances:
- Waterproofing in the transition to water impermeable concrete constructions (testing principles)
- Plinth waterproofing
- Waterproofing in a bund
- Connection and integration of flexible, mineral waterproofing slurries with non-mineral building materials and connection areas such as plastic, metal and wood.
Application
The substrate should be clean, dry and capable of supporting a load.
- The temperature of the material, air and substrate should be: from min +5°C to max +30°C
- Apply waterproofing material as contact layer, work in Water Stop over the entire surface.
- In corner areas, Interior Corner VF and Exterior Corner VF are placed so that they overlap the water stop.
- In areas where pipes pass through walls, Wall Gasket VF or a shaped piece made of Water Stop VF 500 can be used.
- Depending on the waterproofing product used, the 2nd and 3rd layer of waterproofing is applied over the entire surface.
The permissible application temperatures depend on the product properties of the waterproofing products used. Apply the waterproofing material crosswise in relation to the tape. The tape must not be damaged.
