Rustoleum 4215 Heat-Resistant Aluminium is formulated for use on radiators, boiler fronts, incinerators, stacks, breeching's, kilns and other surfaces subject to high temperatures and rust.
Rustoleum 4215 (4200) Heat-Resistant Aluminium is a heat resistant paint designed for use on a variety of different appliances where heat build up is a concern. Rustoleum 4215 Heat-Resistant Aluminium should be used as part of a heat protection system and surfaces should first be primed with rust inhibitive primer 4268.
Rustoleum 4215 Heat-Resistant Aluminium is best used on hot appliances such as radiators, boiler fronts, incinerators, stacks, breeching's, kilns and similar surfaces subject to high temperatures and rust producing conditions. Rustoleum 4215 Heat-Resistant Paint works to protect heats of up to and including 425°C continuously.
Rustoleum 4215 Heat-Resistant Aluminium can be applied using brush, roller or airless spray to produce a glossy metallic finish which contains aluminium resins. Rustoleum 4215 Heat-Resistant dries to touch after just 2 hours and can be recoated after 24 hours providing conditions are of around 20°C. Warmer conditions will increase the drying time and colder conditions will slow it down dramatically.
Surface and Environment
Rustoleum 4215 (4200) Heat-Resistant Aluminium has been specifically designed for use internally and externally to produce a super heat resistant coating for indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Rustoleum 4215 Heat-Resistant should be used on new, bare or blasted steel surfaces in light-heavy industrial exposures.
- Long-lasting gloss retention
- Provides heat resistance up to 425°C dry heat in sheltered or interior environments, if applied on Rustoleum Heat-Resistant Primer 4268.
- For applications to boiler fronts, incinerators, stacks, breechings, kilns and similar surfaces subject to high temperatures and rust producing conditions
- For indoors and sheltered outdoors
- One topcoat is sufficient over a primer
- Lead free

The manufacturers data sheets are available for download from this website. It is your responsibility to read and understand all aspects of the data sheets before you place an order and prior to application. Please pay special attention to the preparation, mixing and application temperatures of the product, cleaning of substrate and environmental factors such as temperature, rain etc. Quoted coverage rates are based on the manufacturers theoretical rates and may vary depending upon substrates absorption, texture and application. We always recommend a test is carried out to ensure suitability.
Customer further agrees that Promain have no liability for any errors or omissions contained within the Product Data Sheets and are not liable for failure due to misapplication or inadequate substrate cleaning and preparation. For more information please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
