Rustoleum Contract Matt is a matt, solvent-free wall paint based on a synthetic resin dispersion, specifically designed for painting walls and ceilings in large-scale new construction and renovation projects. For application in dry areas. For interior use.
Rustoleum Contract Matt is formulated as a wall paint on mineral substrates for renovation and new-construction projects. Suitable surfaces include: existing coats of wall paint, cement and plasterwork, concrete, brick, gypsum panelling, board, etc. Also suitable for painting glass fibre fabric.
The substrate must be capable of supporting the paint, completely set, clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Sand and repair surface irregularities. Remove and/or repair all loose and unstable coats.
For new, untreated substrates
For existing intact coats of wall paint
For existing, flaking coats of wall paint
For contamination caused by nicotine, damp, rust or soot
The systems described above apply for the most common types of surface. For specific applications and/or detailed advice, please contact our technical team.
Stir thoroughly prior to use. The first coat can be diluted with a maximum of 10% water. Apply in 1 or 2 coats using a suitable brush, paint roller or paint sprayer. Always work wet-on-wet to prevent visible marks in the paint. Retouch all lengths in the same direction. Do not touch up when drying.
Do not apply at temperatures below +8°C. Only apply if the surface temperature is at least 3°C above the dew point temperature.
