Seajet 011 Underwater Primer is a quick drying underwater primer, formulated as an anti-corrosive chlorinated rubber primer and barrier coat for unknown antifoulings.
Seajet 011 Underwater Primer is best used as a primer and binder coat for Seajet Antifouling.
For use over existing clean antifouling: Roughen the surface with abrasive paper P180-240 grade (wet sanding). Apply 1 coat of Seajet 011 Underwater Primer to assure good adhesion. Only apply to dry, damp-free surfaces.
For Bare Fibreglass: Degrease and abrade with P180-240 grade abrasive paper, followed by Seajet Thinner E wiping to remove all contamination from the surface. Apply 1 coat of Seajet 011 Underwater Primer followed by Seajet Antifouling.
For Wood and Steel: Degrease if required and abrade followed by final cleaning to remove all contamination from the surface. Apply 3-4 coats of Seajet 011 Underwater Primer followed by Seajet Antifouling.
For Aluminium: As for steel but apply Seajet 017 Epoxy Bonding Primer as first coat.
