NP1000 is a 2 pack topcoat that has been formulated with polyurethane which makes the paint highly durable. It also has an excellent level of hiding power and a high coverage rate. It is available in a pure white as standard but can be mixed with the Selemix range of binders to produce several white and off white RAL colour codes.
When used with an applicable primer NP1000 will provide protection in harshest environments for items such as mild steel, bare steel, galvanised steel, phosphate steel, light alloys, stainless steel, previously coated steel, GRP fibre glass reinforced polyester, agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, harvesters, combines, tillers, bailers, muck spreaders, machine tools, breakers, drill presses, lathes, milling machines, guillotines, break presses, fly presses, surface grinders, pull saws, table saws, plant equipment, excavators, dumpers, earth movers, screed pumps, generators, power barrows, cranes, crawler cranes, lifting gear, chain slings, good hoists, engines hoists, car jacks light, industrial equipment, electrical cabinets, welfare cabins, airport ground support equipment, steel structures, roller shutters, steel doors, garage doors, handrails, control panels plus many more!
NP1000 is best used as topcoat in a Selemix paint system over a compatible primer such as Selemix 7-413 or 7-414. Using as topcoat in the aforementioned paint system NP100 is ideal for application on to bare steel, phosphated steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, steel structures, plant equipment, screed pumps, diggers, dumpers, excavators, earthmovers, power barrow, generators, back hoes, street masters, cranes, crawler cranes, lifting equipment, goods hoists, gennie lifts, lifting tackle, chain slings, agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, ploughs, tillers, ploughs, bailers, muck spreaders, machine tools, lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, pull saw, table saw, engine hoist, car lifts, guillotines, break presses, drill presses, welfare cabins, electrical cabinets, steel structures, hand rails, steel structures, cars trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, garden furniture, roller shutter doors, garage doors, steel doors plus many more
Selemix NP1000 can be applied via both conventional and airless spray equipment. When applied at a 50 micron dry film thickness NP1000 has a theoretical coverage of 6.4-7.2 m2 per litre, for best results and optimum performance in is recommended that 2 coats are applied over an applicable Selemix primer.
NP1000 is a 2 pack product so will need to be combined with Selemix hardener 9-060 or 9-080 at a general ratio of 3 to 1. The paint will then need to be thinned with Selemix Thinner 1-420 at a general ratio of 3 to 1.5 before use.
Always consult the manufacturer’s technical datasheet for correct mix ratio prior to use.
