- Ready for use
- Good substrate penetration
- Resistant to saponification
- Short waiting time
- Quick drying time
- Suitable for application on subfloor heating systems
- Easy to apply
- Can be sprayed
- Grip promoting
Sika Sikafloor 03 Primer is suitable for use on gypsum and cement based substrates as well as wooden OSB and chipboard substrates. Also ideal as an intermediate primer for multi layer constructions.
Ensure substrate has adequate dryness, strength, bearing strength, evenness and dimensional stability. It should be free of residues which reduce adhesion, e.g. dust, dirt, oil, fat and loose particles. Ensure substrate is clean, free from exudation marks, sinter layers, separating agents, parts stimulating corrosion or other disturbing layers. Surface treatments or any friable areas of the subfloor must be mechanically removed and the subfloor repaired with SIKA levelling compounds as required. Non stable, old coatings, e.g. distemper, should be removed. The requirements of the relevant valid standards, guidelines and data sheets apply.
Sikafloor®-03 Primer is a very low emission special primer and is stirred or shaken before use.
Apply Sikafloor®-03 Primer undiluted and saturated with a fine pored roller e.g. a foam roller or similar evenly on the dry substrate. Avoid formation of puddles. Sikafloor®-03 Primer can be sprayed.

The manufacturers data sheets are available for download from this website. It is your responsibility to read and understand all aspects of the data sheets before you place an order and prior to application. Please pay special attention to the preparation, mixing and application temperatures of the product, cleaning of substrate and environmental factors such as temperature, rain etc. Quoted coverage rates are based on the manufacturers theoretical rates and may vary depending upon substrates absorption, texture and application. We always recommend a test is carried out to ensure suitability.
Customer further agrees that Promain have no liability for any errors or omissions contained within the Product Data Sheets and are not liable for failure due to misapplication or inadequate substrate cleaning and preparation. For more information please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
