Teknos Hydropur 2K 7590 is a high quality, two pack, water-based, quick-drying clear varnish for interior and exterior wood.

Best Uses

Teknos Hydropur 2K 7590 is a protective top coat for interior and exterior wood. This wood varnish will improve weather and mechanical resistance of the wood. It will also provide colour retention and gloss stability for lasting protection.

Application

Basically all surfaces must be well cleaned, dry and free of oil or grease. Paint adhesion is dependent on the substrate composition as well as the application technique, as described in Application Data Sheets. If recoating old paint films, it is essential to check the adhesion of the original coating to the substrate and its ability to support a new coating. To check the suitability of the coating system it is essential to carry out an adhesion check, for example: cross hatch test EN ISO 2409.

Before processing, the coating and hardener must be homogeneously mixed both individually and together, preferably with a table mixer. The processing viscosity can be adjusted with water with subsequent homogenisation.

Apply via gravity fed gun. Use a brush for touch ups.
