Teknos Teknal Primer 2500 is a thixotropic solvent borne quick-drying primer that can be diluted with white spirit. Suitable for dip coating and spraying it dries fast with good sanding properties.
Teknal Primer 2500 is best used on wooden window frames. Further treatment can be done with AQUATOP 2600-series or AQUATOP 1300-series products. It is always best to check with the manufacturer to make sure of the suitability of the product for the object in question, before use.
The surface must be clean and dry. The moisture content of the wood needs to be below 20%.
During the application and drying period the temperature of the ambient air, the surface and the paint should be above +5C and the relative air humidity below 80%.
Before use stir the paint thoroughly. Apply by dip coating or by spraying. For dip coating the paint is thinned 30% by volume with thinner TEKNOSOLV 9507.
