Centrecoat R26 is a powerful and effective pretreatment for new tanilised timber prior to the application of paints or stains. Normally, without using this treatment, new tanilised wood would need to be weathered prior to coating to prevent failure of the coating.
Centrecoat R26 also benefits from being a degreasing cleaner for wood that will remove stubborn greasy stains and soiling. Therefore, Centrecoat R26 is suitable for the heavy duty cleaning of wood decking, cladding and other exterior wood. Continues to work for weeks after use.
To Use As Pretreatment For New Tanilised Timber:
Apply liberally neat and work in to the wood using a scrubbing brush. Allow to act for 5 - 10 minutes. Wash off with a hose.
To Use As A Wood Cleaner:
Apply the product liberally by brush or low pressure hand spray to saturate the contamination. Can be applied to a dry or damp surface. Allow the product to work for 30 minutes (light soiling) or 60-90 minutes (heavy soiling) then whilst still wet, thoroughly rinse off with clean water using a pressure washer to achieve the best results. Do not allow to dry out prior to rinsing off.
Stubborn or deep staining may require a second application. To brighten paths and walls leave for up to 8 hours before removing. As with all our products we strongly recommend you carry out a small discrete sample application to test the suitability of our Centrecoat Patio Decking Hard Surface Restorer for your particular use.
