After contacting Promain, a falconry company who specialise in using birds of prey to deter roosting, nesting, feeding or colonies of pigeons, seagulls, and other nuisance birds have used the Bedec Barn Paint to protect their timber bird cages and flights.
The birds that they use are Saker Falcons, Harris Hawk, and captive bred in the UK. The birds each have current and relevant DEFRA paperwork to abide with current UK laws. They have had great success in carrying out pest control or Bird for at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

So Why Use Bedec Barn Paint?
Bedec Barn Paint is a perfect solution for the protection of exterior buildings. Such as barns, stables, outbuildings, sheds, silos, windmills, and factory units (including corrugated and metal box cladding). It is highly recommended for coating fencing, gates, farm equipment, tanks, drainpipes, doors, windows and many other substrates that may be found in gardens, farms and factories. Furthermore Bedec Barn Paint can be applied to previously painted surfaces, even those coated with weathered bitumen, tar, varnish.
In summary, it is tough, durable and has excellent colour retention. It will flex with the substrate rather than flake or crack. Suitable for many applications including:
- Log stores
- Timber garden furniture
- Rough-sawn exterior and weathered galvanising without the need for a primer.
