Owatrol Shed and Fence Paint
Owatrol Shed and Fence Paint is a water based, opaque matt finish paint specifically for exterior wood such as fencing, decking, sheds and outdoor furniture. It has a high performance, long lasting protective finish which provides an opaque matt finish and is available in a choice of colours – including Light Grey, Aged Grey, Blue Grey, Shale, Stone and Winter Sky – to name just a few!
Owatrol Shed and Fence Paint is water based and contains Owatrol E-B which provides an adhesion coat for exterior vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Bedec Barn Paint
Bedec Barn Paint is highly recommended for coating fencing and gates. It is a water based paint coating which is ideal for protecting exterior wood. It can be applied to previously painted surfaces, including those coated with weathered bitumen, tar, varnish or creosote. With its tough and durable coating it also has excellent colour retention. Furthermore this coating will flex with the substrate, which reduces the likelihood of flaking or cracking.
Available in a range of colours, including a number of standard greys, Bedec Barn Paint can also be tinted to most colours and finishes.
Teknos Woodex Aqua Wood Oil
Although Teknos Woodex Aqua Wood Oil tends to be used more on the industrial side, it can certainly be used for the protection of garden deck floors, wooden garden furniture, fencing and trellises. Apply to clean, dry wooden surfaces by brush, sponge or by dipping. It protects wooden surfaces from moisture, soiling and when tinted, from UV radiation of the sun. In addition it diminishes cracking of the wooden surface.
It is worth pointing out here that this product is not suitable for shelters for livestock.
Teknos Woodex Aqua Solid
Further to the Woodex Aqua Wood Oil, the Woodex Aqua Solid offers a wider range of colour choice – including a number of greys and blue-greys. Teknos Woodex Aqua Solid best used for renewed treatment of old, faded wood stain surfaces, such as fencing, and also when a uniform colour is desired on old and new wood stain surfaces. It is however, also suitable for use on new and press-impregnated wood.
Solignum Architectural Solvent Based Opaque Woodstain
This Solvent Based Opaque Woodstain is a mould resistant stain suitable for use on doors, sheds, gates and fences. It is designed to protect and decorate the wood giving it a higher life expectancy while still remaining pleasing on the eye. Available from Promain in a range of colours including Arctic Grey and Charcoal Grey. It is also tintable to a wide range of BS and RAL colour shades.
