Selemix 7-414 Epoxy Vinyl Primer is 2 pack primer that can be applied in a wet on wet paint system with a minimum of 2 hours between coats saving valuable time on application reducing the overall labour costs. Additionally it can be left for up to 2 months between coats without the need for sanding when recoating meaning items can be primed stored and coated at a later date.

Selemix 7-414 Epoxy Vinyl Primer is best used as a primer coat in a Selemix paint system to provide protection from the elements. Using as part of this system makes the product perfect for application on to bare steel, phosphated steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, steel structures, machine tools, drill presses, lathes, milling machines, brake presses, guillotines, plant equipment, screed pumps, diggers, dumpers, excavators, earthmovers, power barrow, steel doors, garage doors, roller shutter doors, garden furniture, welfare cabins, electrical cabinets, airport ground support equipment plus many more.
The substrate will need to be suitable abraded and degreased in preparation of receiving a painted finish Selemix 7-414 can be applied by conventional spray equipment. Selemix 7-414 has a theoretical coverage of 5-5.2m2 per litre when applied at a 50 micron dry film thickness.
Selemix 7-414 Epoxy Vinyl Primer is a 2 pack paint meaning it will need to combined with Selemix Hardeners 9-010 or 9-011 at a general ratio of 4 to 1.
Selemix 7-414 Epoxy Vinyl Primer will also need to be thinned with Selemix Thinners 1-410 or 1-400 prior to use, always consult the technical datasheet prior to use for applicable ratio.
