Thermoplastic Games

Promain have put together a range of popular thermoplastic graphics with a focus on educating children whilst they are playing in the school playground. Designs such as Hopscotch help children to learn numbers. Centrecoat Times Table Grid for School Playgrounds help children with learning their times tables and the World Map understanding about countries around the world.

Thermoplastic Educational & Games Graphics are produced from a durable UV stable sheet material that is cut by a water jet cutter to produce any desired design. These Thermoplastic Game Graphics are then placed on either tarmac or concrete (when being applied to concrete an adhesion primer is simply applied either by brush or an easy-to-use aerosol), and gently warmed with a gas torch. Thermoplastic playground symbols and designs are easily applied by a competent DIYer as no special skills are required.

Due to thermoplastic being such a robust material (many signs as well as yellow and white lines on roads and motorways are produced using the same thermoplastic), many councils have opted to use thermoplastic designs in public playgrounds, schools and colleges as this material will outlast acrylic, chlorinated rubber and epoxy paints. Also, the speed and ease of application along with an almost instant return to service makes Thermoplastic a firm favourite.
