Carboline Carbomastic 15 LT is a two pack, high solid aluminium pigmented, low temperature curing modified epoxy mastic.

Formerly Nullifire PM015 Two Pack Aluminium Epoxy Primer.

Best Uses

Carboline Carbomastic 15 LT is a high build coating with excellent adhesion to rusted steel and most aged coatings. This product is recommended for painting over rusted steel where hand cleaning only is possible and will penetrate through rust to steel substrate and stops further corrosion and
undercutting.

Carboline Carbomastic 15 LT is an excellent maintenance primer for piping, bridges, tank exteriors, ships and offshore structures etc.

Carboline Carbomastic 15 LT is part of the large range of Fire Retardant and Intumescent Coatings available from Promain.

Application

May be used over most generic types of coatings which are tightly adhering to the substrate, including organic- and inorganic zinc primers. Blast steel via hand or power tool cleaning is acceptable standard in many cases to remove non adhering paint and rust. Alternatively, ultra high pressure water jetting to Nace No. 7 min. C Vis WJ-2. Max flash rust; C Vis WJ-2M.

Apply via brush or roller for touch up only. Otherwise, please apply via airless spray.
